  • Issued by The University of Sydney, 2019

    Established in 1984 by a bequest of the residuary estate of the late Ethel May Chettle, in memory of her husband, Noel Chettle, to create the Ethel M. Chettle Prizes in Architecture. The object of the prize is to recognise application to studies and ability. The prize is awarded on the recommendation of a committee comprised of the Professor of Architecture, Master of Architecture Program Coordinator and the one other academic involved in teaching the Master of Architecture, who will give consideration to the students abilities, perseverance and effort throughout the course of study.

    The Nanette Cameron Scholarship is awarded "in Recognition of Exceptional Studio Design". Nanette Cameron is one of the most recognisable names in New Zealand interior design. In 2004, Cameron was awarded a Queen’s Service Medal for her contribution to the community, and she is also an honorary member of the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
