Almost a decade on, the design of the Material Space showroom was revisited to accommodate an expanded palette of products — from fine Japanese tiles to breeze blocks. The design adopts the clarity of a gallery, framing materials as artefacts, while introducing more defined spaces for meeting and exchange.
It also offers a provocation on how the design industry might engage within such a setting — through events, gatherings, and a space adaptable to the client’s evolving role.
